Ms. Mehta brings to the firm extensive knowledge and experience in securities law and litigation. Prior to joining Jacko Law Group, Ms. Mehta was a senior associate at Reif Law Group, P.C., where she represented firms and individuals in complex litigation and business disputes.
She also represented investment advisers and other securities personnel in arbitrations and regulatory actions before state and federal courts and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). Prior to Reif Law, Ms. Mehta was an attorney with Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLC, where she contributed to the successful litigation of complex shareholder derivatives, securities fraud, consumer, and antitrust class actions. She has also served as Compliance Counsel for Seashine Financial, LLC, Compliance Examiner at FINRA and Legal Intern as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ms. Mehta’s extensive background as a securities counsel and litigator enhances the capabilities of Jacko Law Group’s team and benefits our clients with her strategic insights and tactical approach. Prior to joining the legal field, Ms. Mehti worked exclusively in the financial services industry, where she obtained her series 7 and 66 licenses through FINRA, which she used to provide financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth clients. This combination of experience and expertise allows her to get the best outcome for our clients.
Ms. Mehta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University and her MBA degree from the University of Southern California. She received her Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in business, with honors, from California Western School of Law.
She was admitted to the California Bar in 2014 and to the Texas Bar in 2016.
Ms. Mehta currently resides in San Diego where she enjoys playing competitive Beach Volleyball and Indian/Bollywood Folk Dancing.
