Mr. Mahvash works closely with founders, executives, and boards to provide practical, business-focused legal advice throughout the corporate lifecycle.

Immediately prior to joining Jacko Law Group, Mr. Mahvash was a Senior Associate at Jasso, Lopez & Harrison LLP, where he advised registered investment advisers and investment funds on securities matters and worked on transactions exceeding $1 billion in aggregate value.

Mr. Mahvash previously worked at Baker & McKenzie LLP, where he practiced in both its International Commercial and Corporate & Securities groups, advising clients on cross-border transactions, complex mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and compliance with securities laws. Earlier in his career, he worked as a commercial litigator at Rodriguez & Nicolas LLP.

Before returning to private practice, Mr. Mahvash also spent years working in Africa and the Middle East in support of hundreds of international development projects. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the progress of his community in City Heights, San Diego.

Mr. Mahvash received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and his B.A. in Economics from Yale University.  He is admitted to the California Bar and the Texas Bar.
